Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested controversial Nigerian singer, Portable over charges of assault and unruly behaviour.
Prior to his arrest, Portable was given a 72-hour ultimatum by the police to turn himself in.
The singer however, failed to honour the Police’ invitation.
He was eventually arrested in Sango Ota area and taken to the Command’s Headquarters, Eleweran where he would remain in police custody till Monday and may be arraigned in court.
Confirming his arrest, Ogun police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi said he is being kept at the State Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
