Embattled Anambra state indigine, Mmesoma Ejike has finally tendered a public apology to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) following investigations which proved beyond doubt that she tempered with her original UTME scores in a bid to secure a 3million naira scholarship from the CEO of Innoson Automobiles, Dr. Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma.
Mmesoma spoke on Wednesday when she appeared before an ad hoc committee of the house of representatives investigating the alleged forgery of her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result.
“I feel a debt of pain for letting you down,” she said while pleading for leniency for the ban imposed on her to be lifted.
Also in attendance was Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB registrar, and top directors of the board who appeared before the committee.
