The current strike over the beating of NLC President Joe Ajaero, among other outstanding concerns, has been stopped by the Joint National Executive Council, or NEC, meeting of the Nigeria Labour Congress, or NLC, and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, or TUC.
After the Federal Government intervened through the Office of the National Security Adviser, or NSA, the strike was put on hold.
On the labor demands, however, the conversation would go on.
