Elon Musk, founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesler Motors, SpaceX and owner of Twitter, has reclaimed his position as the world’s richest person after dethroning French multi-billionaire Bernard Arnault from the top spot.
The Twitter boss reclaimed the spot on Wednesday after shares of Mr Arnault’s LVMH fell 2.6 per cent in Paris trading.
According to a Bloomberg Billionaires tally, Elon Musk now has his net worth at about $192 billion, compared to Bernard Arnault’s $187 billion.
Bernard Arnault is the CEO of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, commonly known as LVMH (LVMHF), a French multinational holding and conglomerate specializing in luxury goods with its headquarter in Paris.
LVMH incorporates companies such as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Celine and Tag Heuer.
Musk and Arnold have reportedly been neck-and-neck for the top spot for months.
