Anthony Joshua may not be retiring anytime soon again as the former world heavyweight champion got back to winning ways on Saturday night at the 02 Arena in London when he claimed a unanimous decision win over American Jermaine Franklin.
Following his loss to Oleksandr Usyk twice, the two-time champion vowed to quit boxing if he lost Saturday’s match to American Jermaine Franklin.
But Joshua in Saturday’s face-off, beat Franklin by unanimous decision with the judges scorecards reading 118-111, 117-111, 117-111.
The British-Nigerian won the fight with his uppercuts landing the most damage as Franklin took all Joshua’s hit boldly refusing to fall.
