Popular Benue Tiv rapper, Hunde Ngutor Egypt otherwise known as Egyptian Cairo has lost his mother to death.
Egyptian is known for his distinct style of rap music in Tiv language which he often uses to address various societal ills. He made a bigger impact early this year with the release of his latest single, “Uzagir.”
The singer announced the demise of his mother via a Facebook post on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Before her death early Friday morning, Egyptian’s mother was admitted in a medical facility and was undergoing treatment.
Condolences have since begun to flood the singers’ social media handles as fellow Benue entertainer, McSmart-mop wrote, “kindly accept my heartfelt condolence.”
On June 9 2022, Egyptian Cairo had called for financial assistance from the public to enable him pay for his mother’s surgery worth 8million naira owing to a tumor.
