Benue singer, Airnaz has lamented the level of lack of support for creatives in the state.
Comparing the Benue music artists with their counterparts in other parts of the country, Airnaz expressed displeasure with those who call them “lazy.”
According to him, the efforts made by music artists in Benue to put themselves on the map could be twice of what others do elsewhere but they lack the necessary support to strive in the industry.
The Lagos based singer noted that creatives in other parts of the country strive because they have enormous support from their roots unlike in Benue where he claims a “pull-him-down syndrome” persists.
The singer added that,
it “Is only people who are very strong mentally and emotionally that can come from BENUE and agree to pursue music as a career because once you are passing through one or two problems no one is lifting you up and showing no love”

“People supports you when it’s popular to do so”. See, let’s face it, lots of people love and support a content they deem up to standards, of good qualities or trendy. These whole thing depends solely on you, the content creator. Make GOOD MUSIC bro and see how less you need Benue people’s supports.
“Music is a global language and just anyone could connect with good sounds. You just focus on making those songs. Opportunities will come.
“Limoblaze, A mose, Rhemahz and co are now world class. Limo especially. Just like you, they started off the streets of Benue. Be inspired, do better bro❤️.”
